The City of Springfield submitted documents in a lawsuit filed in February claiming a police dispatcher was subjected to harassment and discrimination.
The suit names the City of Springfield, mayor Debbie Wakefield, former police chief James Smith, and SPD patrol officer Wesley Tingle as defendants. It claims dispatcher Leticia Cano was subjected to harassment and discrimination, and was retaliated against when she reported the alleged conduct.
