HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Across the
country, 911 call centers across the country receive about 240 million
911 calls a year, according to the National Emergency Numbers
Association.
In July, Horry County 911 took 31,013 calls. In July 2017, they received 29,764 calls, and in July 2018, they received 27,903 calls.
