McDONOUGH COUNTY — During Tuesday’s meeting, McDonough County 911 director Eric Lenardt told the McDonough County-Schuyler County Emergency Telephone Service Board the dispatch center had a number of dropped 911 calls.
According to the 911 director, the dispatch center started using INDigital on Feb. 24 and in the process of getting both landline and cell phone carriers 911 services on the INDigital format. He said five carriers have been fully transferred to INDigital service with three carriers’ transfers to be completed soon…

- Assists citizens in need by gathering information using multi-line phone systems, TDD and other communications equipment, answering 911 and non-emergency phone calls for Police, Fire, EMS and others, using the CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) system to enter and retrieve information, processing and forwarding calls as required using computer and phone systems.
