The dispatcher walked the caller through CPR and at one point asked if responders had arrived. The error became clear about eight minutes into the call when the caller, again asked about the location, said she didn’t know for sure, but it was the street leading to Kroger … which would be West Market Street.

The City of Reno is proud to announce that its dispatchers will provide emergency medical dispatch to quickly identify a caller’s medical emergency and deliver potentially life-saving verbal instructions prior to emergency medical services (EMS) arriving. As the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for all initial 911 calls placed in the City of Reno, Reno Dispatch will now serve as a backup for medical calls.

A Bristol Township woman is accused of making more than 1,000 calls to emergency dispatchers locally and around the nation.
Erica Lynn Saresky, 27, of Bristol Township’s Levittown section, was charged this week via summons with communications with 9-1-1, harassment, and disorderly conduct.
