The first class passes the base 9-1-1 certification course with flying colors
May 5, 2023 – Before they even graduate high school, fourteen Cobb students have completed the base course that could lead them to a career in 9-1-1. This inaugural class was part of the Career, Technical, Agricultural Education (CTAE) program at Osborne High School, and the 14 students passed the course with an average score of 95.5.
The Indiana State Police (ISP)-Versailles Post on Wednesday arrested a dispatcher from the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office on two felony charges related to accessing an internal law enforcement system and releasing case-sensitive information to the public.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — For 19 years, Annie Casey has answered the call as a 911 dispatcher with the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department Communications Unit.
“It’s been good helping people,” Casey said.
House Bill 2717 adds 911 dispatchers to the list of public safety employees who qualify for trauma therapy that’s funded by their employer.
