The Pettis County Commission announced that as of Wednesday, Pettis County Joint Communications (PCJC) is now the primary operational emergency Public Safety Answering Point for Pettis County, consolidating the efforts between the Sedalia Police Department and Pettis County Sheriff’s Office communications units.
A news release states that while the primary function of PCJC is to process emergency or 911 calls for service, it also processes and handles non-emergency requests for police, fire, and medical service under nationally accepted protocols.
