Gasconade County E-911 has come a long way since it’s beginning in 1995. Having the capability to locate a 911 call on a digital map from a cellular telephone wasn’t even thought of. In it’s early stages, Gasconade County’s 911 Dispatchers used a typewriter to log information received over the telephone and radio. Now we use a complex C.A.D system that does some of the work for us.
