KEY ACTION Council asked Solicitor Brett Hillyer to draw up a resolution that would allow the village to use Regional EMS, a new business that was recently formed in Carroll County and is a non profit business, for emergency calls.
DISCUSSION Passing a resolution at the June session would make Regional EMS the first responders to EMS calls. 9-1-1 dispatch would also have to be notified that they are on duty and would be first to be dispatched to EMS calls within the village.
