The Iowa Chapter of Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO) has awarded Winnebago County Communications dispatcher Ashley Egesdal 2019-2020 Telecommunicator of the Year. Ashley was nominated for her excellence in handling the multiple injury accident that occurred on January 1,2019 in which she received multiple 911 calls about two-vehicle head on collision in rural Forest City. Ten young adults were involved with multiple critical injuries.
