The City of Hopkinsville installed three emergency call boxes along the Hopkinsville Rail Trail on Tuesday; however, the beacons are expected to be turned on within the next week.
“They’re integrated with (the Emergency Communications Center) and have built-in cameras in them,” Ezell said. “When you activate the call, it takes you to the 911 center, you’re on camera and a blue flashing light will illuminate.”
