City councilors will hear an update on the administration of the tax during a Monday work session. The city didn’t provide any details in the staff report that went out ahead of the meeting.
The tax, which the City Council approved in June, is projected to initially raise $23.6 million in year. Two-thirds of the money will go to law enforcement, with the remaining money being split among the municipal court, the fire department and homeless programs.
