PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) – Earlier this month, Prestonsburg Enhanced 911 broke ground on an overhaul and upgrade of its Police/Fire/EMS Communications Center.
The center has not received an upgrade in more than 20 years.
The upgrade allows the creation of three dispatcher positions.
Officials said this will provide better and faster responses to Prestonsburg and North Floyd Fire Protection District needs.
