YATES — The investigation into a fatal fire on Route 18 took an unexpected and odd twist as the fire somehow rekindled overnight and destroyed what was left of the house.
“It rekindled about 2 a.m. and was fully involved when firefighters arrived,” Orleans Undersheriff Christopher Bourke said.
