BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office is recognizing a team member for saving a life.
The sheriff’s office says a call came into their crisis hotline earlier this week from a person talking about committing suicide.
Telecommunicator Patti Yandle answered that call.
Deputies say she was able to talk about the situation and keep the person from taking further action.
