GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) — The final call for Joseph Miller was played in Grand Traverse County Saturday.
Miller worked in public safety for 25 years, 21 of them for Grand Traverse County Central Dispatch.
Miller and his girlfriend Rene Hoxie-Papineau were killed in a motorcycle crash on Labor Day.
Rene Hoxie-Papineau, 62, died on September 1 after the motorcycle she was riding on crashed in Benzie County. Hoxie-Papineau was the Evidence and Property Room Manager for the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office since 2002. (Jowett Family Funeral Home photo)
