Each year, the second full week of April is dedicated to the men and women who serve as public safety telecommunicators during National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (NPSTW). During the week of April 10-16, we honor the oft-forgotten heroes of public safety, our dispatchers, who serve our communities, citizens and public safety personnel 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
