PORTLAND, Ore. – After falling victim to thieves who stole her brand new bicycle, a 12-year-old girl experienced an incredible act of generosity from those who handled the theft case.
The girl called 911 after someone took her bike, which she had left locked outside a Portland-area grocery store. Officer Dustin Lauritzon drove her home. He was with her when she told her grandmother, who had been saving up to buy the bike so the girl could ride to school.
