Ravenna’s police department will be adding two full-time dispatchers
to its dispatch center, a move that officials say will eliminate the
need for staffers to regularly incur overtime.
Council voted unanimously Tuesday to add the two staffers to the department to replace four part-time dispatchers, who will have the opportunity to apply for the new jobs.
