Using information from 911 calls, Evansville Central Dispatch was able to provide police with information that led them to locate the active shooter at the Walmart on Evansville’s west side.
The calm and professionalism of these dispatchers helped law enforcement save lives. Responding to any emergency begins with dialing 911, and Thursday night’s barrage of calls tested the courage of the dispatchers on the other end of the line.
