Description
Primary responsibilities for this position include receiving, dispatching, and processing calls and messages for police, fire and rescue services. Dispatchers rotate through three separate shifts. Salary Range: $35,252 to $48,729 annually plus shift differential, opportunity for overtime, and benefits.
Job Requirements
To establish an Eligible List for the classification of Police/Fire 911 Dispatcher, the City of Middletown will conduct an open competitive examination. All applicants will be required to take a written and listening examination on Saturday, March 7, 2020. Qualified candidates selected for further processing will complete interview, typing exam, background check, polygraph exams, and a psychological assessment.
